Since its inception, the MCR Training Institute has trained more than 2,000 internal staff and professionals from government and industry. Today, training is provided in three mechanisms. The first is a publicly available seminar which is designed to meet a broad spectrum of training needs. The second is a “tailored” course based on your specific needs. We spend time learning about the requirements and challenges of your programs and about your staff’s knowledge level. Our training materials are built not as abstract textbooks, but as how-to manuals. The third is a combination lecture/workshop environment, designed to address a case study of your choosing. Regardless of the mechanism you choose, your staff learns exactly what they need to learn—based on examples and tools that are relevant and useful to them—and training is scheduled where and when you need it.

Scheduling and Locations

Additionally, we offer external training through tutorials presented at various seminars, conferences, and symposia that are held regularly throughout the year by professional organizations.
Customization
To prepare your employees to assume more responsibility, prior to teaching a course, we spend time learning about the specific requirements and challenges your programs face and your staff's knowledge level. This allows us to make sure each course covers:
- Exactly what your people need to learn;
- Where this fits in with what they already know; and
- What examples and tools will be most relevant and useful.
The MTI is a Registered Education Provider for PMI and many of our courses are approved to provide PDUs. Additionally, we have also several courses have been recognized by the Defense Acquisition University (DAU) as Equivalency courses.
